Working Principle Description:
When the air pressure increases, carbon molecular sieve will adsorb a large amount of oxygen, carbon dioxide and water. When the pressure drops to atmospheric pressure, the adsorption capacity of carbon molecular sieve for oxygen, carbon dioxide and water is very small.
PSA equipment is mainly composed of two adsorption towers equipped with carbon molecular sieve A and B and control system. When compressed air passes through tower a from bottom to top, oxygen, carbon dioxide and water are adsorbed by carbon molecular sieve, while nitrogen passes through and flows out of the tower top. When the adsorption of molecular sieve in tower a is saturated, switch to Tower B for the above adsorption process and regenerate the molecular sieve of tower a at the same time. The so-called regeneration refers to the process that the gas in the adsorption tower is discharged to the atmosphere, so as to rapidly reduce the pressure to atmospheric pressure and release the oxygen, carbon dioxide and water adsorbed by the molecular sieve from the molecular sieve.
